Automatic rain gauge Solar powered CSL-ARG-02

The automatic rain gauge is a rugged and durable weather instrument for monitoring rainfall rate and total rainfall of the day. Rain collected in its catchment funnel is measured by tipping bucket mechanism inside the rain gauge. A magnetic reed switch which detects each tip and send signal to the datalogger where every tip is counted and stored. The rain gauge is fitted with built in datalogger capable of sending rainfall data to the central server through its 4G cellular modem over GSM/GRPS service. The unit is fully works on solar power. Logging and data transmission intervals can be set by the user as per the requirement. An OLED display on the logger will show present reading and few past data as well. The logger sends device health information to the server along with the rainfall data, which helps to indicate device parameter at the monitoring station.
